johnson and johnson company of baby cosmetics is been issued notice for not disclosing in advance that it uses ethylene oxide gas for sterilisation of baby product when some byproducts of ETO were found in marketed stock… concern is mainly because these may cause cancer in long run…
people are in dilemma that if not J and J… what to use for baby?it is not new that ETO is used for sterilisation of medical products for human use especially in critical care and procedures.I feel the issue of finding the ETO products in the cosmetics is technical as air drying these items for 24 hours are likely to make it ETO Free and hence safe too.
